This painting is from my 'Heroes & Patriotism' series.  It depicts a powerful scene where a firefighter emerges from a burning structure cradling a terrified cat in his arms.  In this piece, I wanted to impart the message that, to these 'heroes in helmets', even the smallest souls are worth risking danger to save.  This painting honors all our firefighters who rush into the flames, when everyone else is running away.  The Rescue comes to you gallery wrapped, so the image extends around all four sides of the canvas.  It is wired for hanging.  Free shipping within the Continental US.
