LEAN ON ME
Another piece from my 'Heroes & Patriotism' series. With this painting I wanted to show the deep bond that exists between a soldier and his K-9 partner. The realities of war are never pretty. But the aftermath can be faced with strength and dignity if you have someone to lean on. This painting honors all those - both human and canine - who serve and have served, at such great cost.

THE RESCUE
This painting is from my 'Heroes & Patriotism' series. It depicts a powerful scene where a firefighter emerges from a burning structure cradling a terrified cat in his arms. In this piece, I wanted to impart the message that, to these 'heroes in helmets', even the smallest souls are worth risking danger to save. This painting honors all our firefighters who rush into the flames when everyone else is running away.

QUIGLEY DOWN UNDER
This 3-piece set is quite a departure from my usual offering. A tribute to the movie Quigley Down Under, it has a distinctive Western flavor, even though the movie is set in Australia. The main piece featuring Tom Selleck as Matthew Quigley is 30" x 20". The 2 companion pieces showcasing his famous Sharps long rifle and his spurs, are 10" x 10" each.
